For your eyes only ...
On E3 2009 Peter Molyneux tried to convince us that he will come up with something ground breaking. He introduced Milo, a boy who seems to be able to talk with real human beings and even could "see" them with the help of Microsofts new 3D-camera from 3DVSystems. However, I'm not questioning the technology behind Project Natal, but I don't believe that Peters Demo was for real. There was a logical mistake in it: An on-screen figure is not able to look in someons eyes only. It will either look into the camera or it will not. It is not possible to visualize that an on-screen figure look to certian points in a room. You need a hologram or a 3D-Monitor to give this impression.
This physical limitation questioning the whole project: For what do you need a Super-Tamagotchi like Milo, if he is not able to look into your eyes only?
