After this video went viral, I wrote a column gathering together all the evidence that I am correct about this issue here: http://www.johnziegler.com/editorials... On his way to winning the Tournament Players Championship Tiger Woods hit his tee shot on the 14th hole into the water. He claimed the ball crossed the line of the hazard (land) 253 yards from the hole which is 481 yards long. However, the initial description by the NBC announcers as well as the overhead video indicate that Tiger should have essentally been forced to rehit his tee shot, which could have easily impacted the result of the tournament. The golf media however, being in the tank for Tiger Woods, has tried to pretend there was enough doubt for the drop to be "ok." Part of the "evidence" for this was the "testimony" by NBC golf announcer Mark Rolfing, but this video shows his story changed substantially.
