Video ethnographer Liza Walworth made this short educational film for the ESRD Network of New England in 2005, and the Network distributed it to dialysis facilities nationwide. Hemodialysis patients treated at Damariscotta Dialysis in Maine and DCI Boston describe their experience and explain why it is important to them that their hemodialysis access be a native vein arteriovenous fistula.
