A nifty alternative to growing and maintaining long tails to keep them from dragging on the ground. This method results in much less matting and breakage than braiding, meaning the tail is easier to brush/pick out when taken down. It also gives the horse full use of its tail. The knots can stay in for weeks or even months at a time and the tail will still brush out super easily with a little detangler. Great for pastured or stalled horses. Be sure to wrap each knot with vet-rap or other equivalent self-adhesive bandage, as shown on the knots already done.
