Fully functional US WWII field artillery trainer, model M3. Manufactured circa 1942 by the Myers-Whaley Company out of Knoxville, Tennessee. The M3 used compressed air to fire a 1" steel ball up to 85 yards. The M3 was used during WWII to train gun crews in proper calculation of range and trajectory.
