When I re-watched this video it look like the Magnesium wasn't fully cover with petroleum jelly, but everything that is touching the water is fully covered with petroleum jelly. Only the big clumps of jelly show up but a thin layer is placed through out the whole magnesium.
I show the amps on the cell with petroleum jelly cover its magnesium electrode. So far the magnesium is not corroding. In all the other test i've done the magnesium should have shown corrosion by now but its not so it gives me hope!
