The Tea Packaging Device aims to improve the efficiency of employees who package tea bags at the Scott Key Center. Located in Frederick, MD, this non profit organization provides jobs specifically for individuals with disabilities. Tea packaging is one of the more prominent tasks, but the current method used is redundant and reduces productivity. The new device that we have developed eliminates the redundant steps of the current method, thus increasing efficiency and profit.
