ASAHI, Japan -- Two English language teachers, Erica Johnson and Kerry Mitchell, were in Japan when the 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit.

They shared their story with Newswatch 12 over Skype. They said electricity in the area was shut off right away and running water was still cut off at the time of the interview.
