The Silmarillion synopsis

The Silmarillion is JRR Tolkien's life work which is the background of the popular books: The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It tells the history of the World up to that point in many stories, beginning with the creation of the world. The stories are mostly tragic. Yet they are a rich history waiting to be known by all travelers of Middle Earth. This is my own very compacted summary of the events of the ages of Middle Earth, telling the overall story of Elves, & Men, and the Aniur the sub-creators of the world, from which wizard, balrog and the dark lord Sauron come. The pictures are not mine, but the music is. I present this synopsis, hoping it will spark the interest of some to know more of Tolkien's world by reading the Silmarillion itself.
