The USAID-supported Program for Strengthening Household Access to Resources (PROSHAR), led by ACDI/VOCA, is implemented by iDE. PROSHAR has been working to reduce food insecurity and increase resilience among vulnerable rural households in southern Bangladesh since 2010. PROSHAR addresses nutrition, food availability and access through an integrated approach that increases the income of the poor and ultra-poor households in program areas.

In this video, iDE, in partnership with Helen Keller International, engages with the families of female beneficiaries.

“Nuturing Connections” is a tool designed by Helen Keller International to challenge gender norms and build equality and constructive communications skills with every participating member of the community. An adapted version of the curriculum was implemented with iDE under PROSHAR, the essence of which is captured in this video.
