These are stills and story boards showing the original ending to 1988's "Poltergeist III." This is the ending that Heather O'Rourke ("Carol Anne") filmed before she passed away. It's possible that MGM still retains this footage in a vault somewhere. Hopefully they will release it as part of a special edition DVD/Blu-ray release.

P.S.-The correct link in the video's credits should be for: http://www.poltergeistiii.com/origina...

UPDATE, 2-25-17: You can now see the original ending footage on the Scream Factory Blu-ray Collector's Edition of "Poltergeist III," available for purchase here!

You can also listen to the fan audio commentary track that I provided for the film.

Note: The version of the footage that Scream Factory discovered is missing the soundtrack, so they added music and subtitles (from the script) to show what some of the dialogue was. It's also missing a few items that are referenced in my video, such as the "frozen Scott" and the Kane "lines of light" face explosion. Instead, it features an alternate version of Kane's demise, in which his face decomposes. A friend of mine did an excellent "fan edit" combining footage from both endings. You can view it here:

Update 2 (5/21/17): I've also done my own (VERY rough!) fan edit that attempts to show what the true original ending looked like. It adds back a few things missing from the version Scream Factory released, such as the "frozen Scott" and the initial concept of Kane's "death":
