Crazily enough it's been a almost 2 weeks since I've added subs to something featuring the beautiful Gumi's voice. This song might actually not be that new to some Vocaloid fans, and especially fans of Kemu himself, as it was released on Kemu's "Pandora Voxx" CD back in April. However it has a nice new PV and it very well might be the first time many fans get to enjoy this song.
The lyrics are definitely a bit confusing and abstract but definitely are railing against the modern world in some ways. I'm not necessarily saying that's kemu's personal opinion, since I don't know much about him (and he's using Vocaloid lol), but it's the general bent of this song. The title of the song is rather confusing to me. Kamisama is of course "god" or "deity", and Nejimaki is a way of say "wind-up" (think like a wind-up doll or music box). So it could be "God Wind-Up", "Wind-Up God", "God's Wind-Up", ect, but there is no particles to help out. If someone can definitely tell me that the title must be something other than I translated, I will change it. I decided on my version since there is one reference to a "mechanical god" in the song and thus "Wind-up god" seemed most fitting.
