This is a theory TAS recorded mostly in real time in order to get an idea of how a perfect SS run might look like. The real time is 38:25 and the in-game time is 27:04
Some tricks require set-ups in either the first act or in the transition between to work and/or to be executed as fast as possible. Therefore some sacrifices are made in these in order to get a lower total time. Using sign posts or death-strats are not used though and the only deaths in the run are in Hydrocity 2 and Launch Base 2 where it's necessary in order to get the zip to work.
This is not really a TAS, nor is it a speedrun. It is a demonstration of the tricks that are known to be possible to do even without using slowdowns or savestates. Some tricks that would be used in a TAS but never in a single-segment speedrun because of the insane difficulty are omitted if there's an easier alternative strategy that don't cause a huge time-loss. It was created using an emulator with savestates with occasional frame-by-frame slowdown since I'm not good at using a keyboard for playing and also might have been too lazy to record a certain trick in real-time.
