In partnership with Association Filles Al Amal Asslaoui, Federation Royale Marocaine de Football, Embassy Rabat designed a 4-day Women's Soccer Coach Training Program that brought in 3 U.S. Women's Soccer Sports Envoys to enhance the visibility of women's soccer in Morocco and address the dire need for more female soccer coaches in this country. The SportsUnited Office in the Department of State selected three excellent envoys: Coach Lesle Gallimore, Head Women's Soccer Coach at the University of Washington; Angela Hucles, recently retired player who helped the U.S. win the Gold medal on the national team in 2008, and; Marian Dalmy, retired professional player and member of the U.S. national team.
