This is my version of the great (in my opinion) old Pat Boone song. It was written by Charles Singleton and recorded by Pat Boone in 1956. Elvis claimed that the song was written for him. He said it "was sent to his house but got lost in all the junk that was there". So he never heard it till Pat Boone came out with it.
One month after Pat came out with his record Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins were sitting around the Sun Records studio in Memphis and Elvis mentioned this song and sang part of it. This little jam session was recorded and was released in 1990 on a cd titled "The Million Dollar Quartet" By the way the 4th member of that quartet was Johnny Cash.
