Governments are investing in and developing Medical Tourism Zones (Healthcare Free Zones) which have a significant impact on the local economy and increase the quality of care and access of medical care in the country or city. The session will focus on Medical Tourism Zones which are Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) that require significant planning, organization and strategic execution for long term success. In addition, it will explain why Governments must assess the feasibility of the proposed free healthcare zone or free medical zone in order to create a sustainable PPP model between the public and private sectors.
