[IEEE CSS Video Clip Contest 2014 Submission] Platform for planar magnetic manipulation (Magman) consisting of an array of 16 coils is modeled and controlled in real-time from Matlab/Simulink. Magman manipulates with rolling steel balls in a way that would not be possible without feedback. After intro, the video shows two means of measuring position, identification of the system, modeling results and design and testing of the control system that can be controlled remotely by iPad. Video won MATLAB And Simulink Student Design Challenge 2013.
