Testing out the new Adobe After Effects CS6. Used the Warp Stabilizer to smooth out the shot, then applied the 3D Camera Tracker. Creating a Null object in the far background I attached a mask to it to use as an alpha matte to cut out the background. It's a little hard to see here, but the Turbulent Displace plugin (size 2 - amount 100) gave a nice feathery/grass look to the edge of the matte. You can see it best before the trees come in. The trees and mountain assets are stills rendered out of e-on Vue7. The footage is shot in Okotoks Alberta. http://chrisafriesen.blogspot.com/
