The 1992 reunion of the Alexandra Palace Television Society was featured on London Tonight.

Featured in this news item is Tony Bridgewater (who originally worked with John Logie Baird & was working at Alexandra Palace when the BBC Television Service started in 1936) and Sylvia Peters, the in-vision announcer.

The former television studios look much better today than they do in this video. There is now an exhibition in the studios along with a "set" at the production end of the studio.

The APTS reunion is held each year at Alexandra Palace. The Society is open to anyone that worked for the BBC Television Service at Alexandra Palace, during the years 1936 - 1981 (when the BBC finally left Alexandra Palace).

If you worked at Alexandra Palace and would like to attend the annual reunion, please visit the APTS website and e-mail the Archivist for inclusion in the APTS mailing list.

This film footage is from the Archive Collection held and administered by the Alexandra Palace Television Society.
