The "Dharma Lounge!" is a special monthly meditation gathering that includes a delicious blend of deep Stillness/GUIDED MEDITATION, illuminating Dharma talk, live music, and MysticalPOETRY (often featuring honey-drenched appearances by the premier Rumi and Hafiz reciter in the West, Eric Schneider!)

Later in the evening, we swithch gears and enjoy time of simply basking in the beauty of each other's Presence and the Divine, Loving Space we've created together (i.e., we hang out, chill, schmooz and possibly dance a bit!).

Young and Dedicated to the Dharma

A group for people in their 20's and 30's

Living Your Truth ~ Blossoming Your Potential

~ Are you usually one of the youngest people in your Sangha (spiritual community)?

~ Would you like to build community with like-minded people who are deeply on path?

~ Would you like a teacher that you can relate to ~ a teacher who is young, vibrant, and a very skillful guide in the terrain you are traveling through?

In this group:

~ We will focus on how to bridge our spiritual practice with our everyday life, with specific emphasis on the issues of being in our 20's and 30's. Including: relationships, right livelihood/money issues, working with emotions, sexuality, making decisions, navigating transitions, etc...

~ We will create a safe, sacred space to develop your whole self (including your aliveness, passion, creativity, joy, connection to others, etc...) while staying dedicated to the truth of liberation.

~ We will discover how to be free from our personal conditioning so that we can live our life in the most true and fulfilling way possible. We will also address how even our spiritual training can add to this conditioning rather than liberate us from it.

Why is it called 'Living Freedom' Dharma Center?

Once someone has done enough work to free themselves from the limiting conditioning of their past ~ the confining structures of their personal history ~ they will begin to live in a very free and open way. In this way of living, there is a particular kind of Freedom and Liberation that is beyond any tradition, outside of any box, and is very personal to each individual.

The phrase 'Living Freedom' is an attempt to succinctly express this way of being and living ~ where a person's Journey becomes completely unblocked, utterly outside of any pre-determined ideas or ideals, and yet remains deeply grounded in the Truth of reality.

Living Freedom Dharma Center is all about supporting this particular kind of expression ~ the unique gift, the creative flow, the miraculous dance that comes when we engage with our life in a conscious way, dedicated to the Truth of our Being.
