A man has shoot and killed himself in Athen's central Syntagma square across from parliament on the 4th of April at 9am local time. Authorities are now trying to locate the 77 year old man's family as he was not carrying any personal identification. A witness has revealed the man was standing next to a tree in the busy square when he pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head. The police have not yet discovered why the man killed himself but have not ruled out that the suicide may have been motivated by the financial crisis. Busy on lookers fill the square, as ambulances took the corpse away
