I made this video to commemorate the 2013 season, in which the New York Red Bulls won their first trophy as a club. A little bit of a back story to the video:
The beginning of the piece in which video is overlayed is from the 2012 MLS Cup, in which rivals DC United defeated the Red Bulls on a late goal after a RB penalty kick (that was made) was called back and missed the second time. The clips at the end of the video are from a do or die game, in which a win would give the red bulls the supporters shield (E and W conference combined highest points total) and consequently their first trophy ever. A loss would just eliminate them from the race on the final day of the season. After going down 1-0, the boys scored 5 unanswered goals. These were scored by (in order in the video and in the match): Henry, Cahill, Sam, Alexander, Steele. This was a memorable season for first year coach Mike Petke, a legend in Metro history as a player and now as a coach.
A quick shout to Empire Supporters Club, I might not even be a supporter without them.
This video falls under the fair use law, however that being said, I would like to credit the following for media used in the video: mlssoccer.com, newyorkredbulls.com, Imagine Dragons (and their label), MSG Network, Comcast Sports Network, ESPN.
