This 35-minute DVD documents the role of the helicopter in WWII. Includes the uses of a helicopter for recovery of documents and instruments of a downed bomber. Helicopter pilot lands, marks downed aircraft with a white X and retrieves the planes instruments. Part II follows an H-6 helicopter pilot on a rescue mission at a mountain outpost in Luzon in the Phillipines were he rescues wounded soldiers. Part III documents a jungle helicopter rescue in Shingbwiyang, Burma. Medic prepare wounded soldier for transport, while other soldiers clear and prepare a mountain top landing pad for the helicopter.
