Paynter has been on my mind and in my prayers.
I was fortunate to have seen him work the day prior to the Belmont Stakes and chat with his exercise rider. So I am dedicating my photos to Paynter and his fans to remember him in the toughest race of his life! He has been diagnosed with Colitis, and having Laminitis in three of his feet.
Bob Baffert his trainer Tweeted on Friday,"Don't give up big guy." He is owned by the Zayat family. Paynter won the G1 Haskell Invitational in August.
