1952 Ford Mainline $17,900 OBO -- Dunlap, TN

The 1952 Ford Mainline was the least glamorous of the 1952 Fords with the lowest trim level. It was produced from 1952 to 1956 and was a highly used model, especially the business coupe model such as this one. The business coupe came with no backseat so as to accommodate delivery and sales people.

This car has been brought into the 21st century in the finest fashion. While still maintaining its original look both exterior and interior, the car has all the modern conveniences one could want in a street cruiser. The donor car for this exercise in craftsmanship was a late model mustang.

The engine is a 5.0 high output, fuel injected and has the accompanying automatic over drive transmission. The air pick up for the fuel injection comes through the inner fender which is professionally done and looks so. Rack and pinion power steering and power brakes, front disc and rear drum, make the car an excellent driver.

Driver comforts consist of AM/FM radio with CD player, custom tilt steering wheel, A/C and custom gauges in the correct factory location for gauges around the speedometer. The paint is good with no rust to be found and body gaps are excellent. The tires are good on the steel wheels with beauty rims and dog dish hubcaps.

If you are looking for a very dependable, comfortable cruiser from the 50's at a very reasonable price, this car probably has your name on it!
