The campus of Washington University in St. Louis is dominated by buildings in the gothic collegiate architectural style. The pinkish-red hue of the granite on the exterior of Brookings Hall and many other buildings on the Danforth Campus provides a sense of unity and connection between structures dating from the early 1900's to the newest buildings under construction.
