Once again, a government agency has told the Winnemem Wintu tribe that we have not met the proper criteria to be allowed to carry on our traditions in peace and dignity. Once again, after jumping through the required hoops (in this case the language of a permit application), we are told there are still more hoops. Although they won't say where the hoops are. But, for the sake of our future generations, we are determined to carry on in the spirit of our ancestors, who brought us this far through terrible times. Please contact Regional Forester Randy Moore and let him know that the original people's of this land have the right to carry on our life ways: 707-562-8737 and/or firstname.lastname@example.org More information: saveourceremony.com
