At Interop 2011, Tom Casey a sales engineer of unified communications for Netscout walked me through their nGenius voice and video manager which allows network administrators to filter through real-time traffic to see specific slices of collaboration tools, most commonly voice and video traffic. The tool identifies pieces of the network and application. With that much granularity, if you see a voice or video quality problem at a location, you can drill down and see what's going on at that location.
