This video is going to show you how to reboot your jailbroken ipod after it has been turned off and wont turn back on. (you can only use this video if you jailbroke your ipod, or iphone with my, or someone elses 2.2.1 jailbreak cywood helper)
NOTES: need already jailbroken ipod, 2 generation ipod touch, cywood 2.2.1 jailbreak helper, ipod needs to be plugged in until told otherwise. this works with iphone, but i dont know what versions. sorry..
1. open the cywood jailbreak helper on your computer.
2. skip all of the way to step five.
3. put your ipod into DFU mode, you can do this by holding down the home and power button at the same time for 10 seconds, then release the power button and continue holding the home for 8 more seconds.
4.hit (upload DFU file).
5.unplug your ipod, wait 2 seconds, then plug it back in.
6.hit (upload own patch (bin) .) then hit next step*
7.hit the (press me) button, then right click on the black command prompt and select paste and let it exit out all by its self. hit next step*
8.then, hit (upload patched DFU).
9.then hit the first (enter go and /exit) and when the command prompt pops up, type ( go ) then hit enter, and then type ( /exit ) then hit enter.
10.now hit ( upload patched IMG file ).
11. lastly, hit the last (enter go and /exit) and when the command prompt pops up again, type ( go ) then hit enter, and then type ( /exit ) then hit enter.
NOW YOUR IPOD *SHOULD* START TO REBOOT!!! If not, THATS OK.. it sometimes does this...it has happened to me before, all you have to do is just repeat the process, its not a long one especially once you memorize it.
