Next time somebody tells you that you must keep the Ten Ccommandments, just keep the following in mind: Love Has Fulfilled The Law . Love is joy, Love is peace (6th precept fulfilled) Love is patient (even tempered), Love is kind, Love does not provoke, Love bears with one another (6th precept fulfilled), Love does not envy (10th precept fulfilled), Love is completely humble, Love is not conceited, Love does not boast, Love is not proud. Love does not dishonour others (2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th 10th precepts fulfilled), Love is not selfish (10th precept fulfilled), Love is not easily angered (6th precept fulfilled), Love keeps no record of wrongs (6th precept fulfilled), Love is pure (3rd, 5th to 10th precept fulfilled),  Love does not delight in evil (1st - 3rd, 5th - 10th precepts fulfilled), Love rejoices with the truth (4th, 9th precepts fulfilled), Love always protects (is faithful) (3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th,10th precepts fulfilled), Love is benevolence Love always trusts (4th precept fulfilled), Love always hopes (1st, 4th precepts fulfilled), Love is self-control (self-restraint, continent) (3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th precepts fulfilled), Love always perseveres, Love is gentle (meek). (1Corinthians 13:4-7; Ephesians 4:2; Galatians 5:1, 22-23) Against love, no law can bring a charge (Gal 5:23) "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Gal 5:14) Love keeps in step with the Spirit (Gal 5:25) The only thing in Christ that has any value (counts with God) is faith expressing itself through love (Gal 5:6) . Anybody can parrot texts but the ability to explain what they mean, now THAT is something else. Apparently you cannot.
John Godsey
+Greg Cox You don't keep his commandments when you sin, so you don't love him but hate him right? that is the inference.

Well, despite trolls and spammers who boast they will get rid of me, I find I am still able to post AND under the same user name as I have had for the last 7 years. lol

l always wondered why zac takes his comments down, now l think l know why, it's so when the REAL YT Predator Police come around there'll be no evidence.
75joev
+mark9531 He has been doing it for a long while, different things drive him l believe. One thing for certain he can't stand disagreement, actually l was the same way when l first logged on and began commenting on YT, but l was a realist and knew l couldn't just cuss and insult people. Now l know commenting on YT and facing disagreement it is best to consider the saying "God give me strength to change the things l can, the humbleness to accept the things l can't and the wisdom to know the difference".... or something like that. l just comment on what l know or sometimes with the best information l have, and let the other person decide.
mark9531
+75joev Sometimes I think Zac reads back over his comments and even HE realizes how filth they are.How he can think that he is a spokesman for Jesus Christ, with filth like that, is beyond me.
mark9531
+75joev "You can't take bible answers that don't suit you, so you hide and run behind cussing language." Zac has gone completely over on the "Dark Side"  He has not mentioned a verse in the Bible in MONTHS. You seem to be dabbling in the doctrines of the Hebrew Roots movement, yourself, Brother Joe. You have taken up this anti-Christian, anti-Easter, anti-Christmas, anti-Palm Sunday, anti-everythng that Christians, everything that Christians do is Pagan stance. I have addressed some of these.  Are you going to defend them?

+mark9531 Well when did the word Easter enter the Christian vocabulary? Was it anywhere near the time the statue of Jupitor somehow became the statue of Peter? If so it was well over a THOUSAND YEARS between the 1st observance of Easter and when those bible translators made their translations. By then Easter was an established tradition. They had no access to the archaeological finds of today pointing to the connection of Easter to paganism and so had no nefarious intentions at all. A THOUSAND YEARS is a long time if you have no access to archaeological finds and perhaps no access to the legendary fables of Babylon and other pagan religions, and also there probably were NO questions regarding Easter when they made those translations. The relationship between eggs, rabbits and paganism there is no doubt. But as you ask, did the pagans attach these symbols to the Christian festival of Easter AFTER Easter had already become a Christian custom? What came first, Easter or the eggs? That is another good question, how old is the name 'Ishtar'? As l noted the entance gate to Babylon is called the ' Ishtar Gate', (and rebuilt by Saddam Hussein in the 1990's), this is the Babylon of Nebachanezzer and Daniel. Whether there was an Ishtar Gate during the Babylon of Genesis 10 needs further study, but there is general consensus the Ishtar Gate is named after Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod the founder of ancient Babylon - Genesis 10. Semiramis would later be known as Ishtar. Kind of a chilling thought as you pass the entrance gate called the ' Ishtar (/ Easter?) Gate', you are now entering Babylon!!

+75joev" It all depends where that word Easter came from." Absolutely.  I could not agrree with your more.  If the translators KNEW the word EASTER had pagan conotations, then it was a wicked thing to do placing it in the Bible to represent one of God's feast. If that were the case 6 translators CONSPIRED to do that in two languages over 100 year period. AND NO ONE HAS OBJECTED UNTIL NOW.  Does that not seem odd to you? "Passover is literally the RIGHT WORD to use in the meaning of pascha" Maybe.  Hindsight is 20/20.  We could say the same thing about the word "GAY" in James 2.3. If the translators had been able to see the meaning of "GAY" in the last 25 years of 20th century, they may have chosen a different word. My problem with YOUR theory is that the Hebrew Roots movement has taken a 21st century concept of some PAGAN fairy tales and attached them to a 500 year old word which is one of God's appointed days. "Or is it as some say derived from the name Ishtar." You must ask the same question about the word "ISHTAR" The documented 500 year old word for the female goddess is Ashtoreth, Ashtoreth, or Astarte. 3 questions: -Why did not any translator translate those Hebrew words into EASTER? -How old is the word "ISHTAR" -Did PAGANS invent the word "ISHTAR", at some late date, because it SOUNDS like EASTER.  And then they could make the claim that EASTER has PAGAN roots. I have never found an ancient book which contains the words "ISHTAR"  or "EASTER" to refer to a female goddess. However, there are 6 ENGLISH Bibles, up to 500 years old, which contain EASTER to refer to an appointed feast... And these same 500 year old Bibles use the words Ashtoreth, Ashtoreth, or Astarte as that female goddess, and NOT "ISHTAR" I have 0, zero, 0 conficdence in writers of the Hebrew Roots movement.  They have an agenda. And I have 100% confidence in translators who risked their life to put the Bible in the hands of the common man in their vulgar language.

"For to be carnally minded is death (ETERNAL DEATH) but to be Spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is at enmity against God, for it is NOT SUBJECT to the Law of God (10 commandments) neither indeed can be" -- Romans 8:6&7 The carnal mind is selfishness in ALL IT'S FORMS, even HIDDEN selfishness, including a pride in giving an appearance of unselfishness including doing a variety of good works, (1Cor 13) including reading the bible thoroughly etc etc. This will be the downfall of many.  ALL negative scriptures have to do with being carnally minded and all positive scriptures have to with being Spiritually minded. "If we say we are without sin you are a liar and the truth is not in you" -- 1John 1:10 If someone says they are above Romans 8:6&7 then the truth is not in them.

+YT Predator Police l realise there's alot of scriptures saying God is ONE but look at the wording of Genesis 1:26 "And God said; Let US make man in OUR image " Jesus said "He that has seen me has seen the Father" I believe God is ONE in that they see things the same way, they don't spend time arguing with one another, like us here on earth.

+YT Predator Police People refuse to open their own mind "The light shined in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not" "Choose this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord" "The Ancient of Days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head as pure wool" -- Daniel 7:9 "Kiss the Son less He be angry, and YOU perish from the way" -- Psalms 2 "For if l go not away the Comforter will not come to you" "And when HE comes, HE will reprove the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement" -- John 16 Go to all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost" -- Matt 28:19 l re-quoted Genesis 1:26 which is long before 1John 5:7 There's alot of funny things on You Tube.

All well-conditioned Adventists, when they see the word commandment their brains see "ten commandments". Conditioning bypasses reasoning and most Adventist have forgotten how to reason.  God says lets reason together. So lets do that. The word 'commandment' or as we say today in modern English is 'command' and it simply means 'order' or 'instruction'. Instructions are an expression of the one giving the instruction. Doubtless God said to His Son Go to the planet Earth and reveal my love and light. How did Jesus do that? Well, you have to BE love to fulfil the royal commandments to Love God and love your enemy. The operative phrase then is to BE love. So Jesus came and the rest is history. He obeyed whatever His Father told him to do; And He WAS the light of men -- personified.. And He WAS love -- personified.   Satan could find no sin in Him. Why? Because Jesus did nothing wrong. When you do nothing wrong no law can be found to condemn you, whether that law be from from the law made obsolete (eg. the ten commandments) or the present laws of the land in which believers live.  As Paul says "There is NO LAW against love" God IS love The believer IS love. That's the gospel.

Well, I only know the Bible and Fulfilled Revelation Theology. I suspect aliens are simply living beings on other planets. We are "aliens" to them. Not that I have ever met one lol  When we die we go to be with God in the "third heaven" and as spirits, we will indeed be be like the angels who are also spirits with a commission to minister to souls on Earth  I don't think it is about "following" God because we already exist in God physically (Acts 17:28), as do all things. We "abide" in God spiritually. The way we "abide" in God spiritually is, I think, to BE love, for God is love. "Abide" is a metaphor for dependence upon and allowing His Spirit to guide us -- "for as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God". In my view, we today are not "sinners" but "saints", or God's "offspring". A "sinner" is a legal term for one who transgressed old covenant law. A "saint" is one who loves as Jesus loves. When he or she makes a mistake (as a natural part of learning to love) they desire to change. I know I do. A person who is spiritual does not defy God by doing wrong deliberately because love is their nature and their purpose in life..  You do not need to pray for the Holy Spirit to keep you alive physically because without the Spirit of God all life would cease to exist. You do not need to pray for the Holy Spirit to keep you alive spiritually because the Spirit is the one who takes the initiative to wake us from spiritual death and keep us alive spiritually, anyway. Not one of us can keep alive his own soul. The new covenant is based on God's better promises to keep US;  it's not about us keeping ourselves -- it's about God keeping us and that's a huge difference, the better promises of the new covenant which we claim as ours by right  Yet, we do have to respond to the Spirt of God leadings, otherwise we would stagnate and wither spiritually. Notwithstanding, I do think we need to pray for the enlightenment of the Spirit when we feel tempted or confused or depressed and need special guidance and wisdom, and, of course, for others.

+Brian Hyde You believe the bible found it's fulfillment in 70AD => According to you the 2nd Coming, The judgement, The Resurrection, The institution of the New Heaven and New Earth ALL fulfilled in 70AD. Tell me now what else besides the bible should we believe? Something tells me you believe in other things like aliens and such and a higher state of existence. Jesus said in the New Heavens and New Earth we will be "Like Angels". Do your beliefs take that statement of Jesus into account. l don't feei condemned because God has forgiven me for all my sins, and l don't defy God and deliberately sin. And l pray for the Holy Spirit because this is the ONLY WAY to follow God.

There are hundreds of verses in the bible which show the Law/10 Comandments are still valid and it's wrong to sin.     Here's one => 2Timothy 1:10 - NKJV   "But has now been revealed by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought LIFE and IMMORTALITY to light through the Gospel" Christ has abolished death for those that believe accept and follow the Gospel. Death has afflicted mankind because "The wages of sin is death" --> Romans 6:23 And "Sin is transgression of the law (/10 Comandments)" --> 1John 3:4 But Jesus kept the law (/10 Comandments) perfectly and did not sin, yet suffered and experienced death anyways. And now all those that accept Jesus's death as a substitution for their having broken the law have found LIFE and IMMORTALITY through the Gospel. It is a gift by the grace of God. Jesus did not abolish the 10 Comandments, he abolished the death penalty for breaking the 10 Comandments for those that have faith Jesus died for them. But as Paul says => "if we sin wilfully (/deliberately) after we have received a knowledge of the truth, there remains no sacrifice for sin" --> Hebrews 10:26 Deliberately sinning because Jesus didn't sin, would be slapping Jesus in the face. "Do we make void (/make obsolete) the Law of God through faith? God forbid." --> Romans 3:31 "Shall we sin so grace may abound? God forbid" --> Romans 6:1&2 ~ Paul plain honest and truthful.

+Daniel Purifoy Well what else could Daniel 12:1 &2 mean? "them that sleep in the dust shall awake" if this isn't the Resurrection when Jesus comes, what else could it possibly be? "some to everlasting Life, some to shame and everlasting contemt" This also sounds like Jesus talking of the Resurrection --> "There will be time when ALL that are in the grave shall hear His voice, and come forth, those that have done good unto the Resurrection of Life, those that have done evil unto the Resurrection of Damnation" --> John 5:28 &29 If Daniel 12:1 &2 isn't the Resurrection what is it?
Daniel Purifoy
+75joev What does that have to do with what I asked you? The book of Daniel was to Daniel's people. Who are those people?

If getting your theological definitions right is thought to be more important than obeying Christ commandment to love one another (to say nothing of one's enemies), then we who debate here really have got one serious problem.

+Ken vansanford  Christ showed how the will of God was no longer to be understood simply as expressed in commandments on stone but to be understood as expressed in "written" on "flesh" (i.e. "on the heart") . He raised the standard higher by going to the root of all sin which is in unhallowed intents and purposes of the heart. Then He said love each other as I have loved you. In other words LIVE LOVE.
