The Leveraxe uses physics to cut wood much more quickly and efficiently. With each strike it pushes the sliced piece of wood to the side, completely separating it from the log. Each piece is removed with a single strike, and the axe won't get lodged in the wood.
Using a tire you can cut-up a log in a fraction of the time it normally takes. Since the axe twists with each strike, the user must keep a loose grip each time the blade strikes the wood.
Leveraxe is a great example of quality Finnish work, representing Finnish design and innovation.
