A journey through emotions and memories. This morning, the Pope went to the Charlemagne Wing of Bernini's colonnade, to visit the exhibition "John Paul II - A tribute by Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of the beatification." The exhibition, opened to the public at the end of April through July 24, is divided into fifteen sections, illustrating the life and pontificate of Karol Wojtyla: his childhood and youth in Wadowice; the years passed in Krakow, presented in the various moments and aspects of his human and priestly maturity; his long pontificate, winding through the encyclicals and official documents, the canonizations and beatifications, his deep devotion to Mary and, ultimately, his illness, ...
