All of you are blinded by mass hysteria. This book is terrible and overrated.

The writing style is bleak because everything in the world is dead and no hope remains. The style is supposed to make you feel alone in a dead world

This molded my perspective on apocalyptic novels, I never thought of the post-end of the world scenarios this complexly until I read this book - a true landmark of a masterpiece is that it gives depth to other stories and reaches beyond just itself! Loved it!

This is one of my favorite books of all time. It's so beautiful. I'm always telling my daughter 'do you have the fire?'

Great review man. Seeing how much you love this book you should absolutely read Swan Song sometime.

Probably The Road, No Country, or All The Pretty Horses.
