Supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office, The Venetian Carnival is Macao's definitive entertainment event and includes three days of festivities, food, the Jazz & Blues contest, as well as a Charity Ball. The carnival saw visitation numbers reach approximately 50,000 over the three days.
The New Orleans Mardi Gras-themed carnival, on the transformed grounds around Campanile Tower and the Lagoon, saw excited crowds descend upon the main stage to experience an array of unrivalled musical talent from budding international artists and music enthusiasts. Whilst carnival style booths served delicious international cuisine, Streetmosphere™ and inspired performers mingled through the crowds to the delight of children and adults alike. A parade, complete with brass band and dancers made its way through The Venetian Macao, kick-starting the Carnival each night.
