In celebration of its 25th anniversary, architectural firm Tsoi/Kobus & Associates partnered with Cambridge Family & Children's Service on a pro bono "Community Build" project to transform the basement of Putnam Place, a Dorchester group home for boys aging out of foster care. The renovation includes study areas, a lounge, a small music studio, and a woodworking station. The project advances CFCS's mission to serve children and strengthen families and gives the boys an alternative to the streets by providing a safe and functional environment in which to study, pursue creative passions, or simply unwind.
