Oak Bay High School and playing fields were rebuilt in 2015, creating an opportunity to do a substantial reconfiguration of Bowker Creek. A time-lapse camera took photos twice a day during creek reconstruction. The resulting video shows how the creek slopes were re-contoured, “islands” were placed along a concrete retaining wall, an outdoor classroom built, pathways created and native vegetation planted along the new riparian area.
