I love the fact of it being "waste" product but never going to waste.

Flat roofs aren't really flat. They have a surrounding parapet wall and are sloped to a drain, with a 10% or greater grade.

Huh? Very interesting.. Even more so was the really 'passionate' responses this video provoked, I would have never guessed such deep emotions on such a subject, whether you may like or dislike the idea.. A lot of areas are subject to flooding every 10-15 years and its that one time flood that can cause the walls to become water logged and soaked. In the midwest, there are tornados, overflowing rivers, etc that can wreak havoc on a straw building, due to water damage.
