Uncertain
amazing
beleiving
in changing
Maybe I've failed
And need rearranging
But you've failed as well
The path that is shaking
and quaking
a radical shift underneath
our feet
and learning again to walk
to speak
slowly, rising up
to seek
To Breathe
I have to remember, my friend, to see
to be able to change the past
and to believe
that I can
and plan
and Change other things as well
To Integrate this all and drag myself out of hell
And maybe I will not be able to do this
As my consiousness blurs, perhaps it will shift
From pseudo-psychotic to full anti-hypnotic
A chance I will take, riding life like a rocket
It's scary isn't it? Leaving this way
But isn't that the way to find change
The change that occured as I focused on Movement
Was all superficial but proved change was not Useless
Now into the future, to hold onto past
of the things that we've learned, to hold them and grasp
Yet how is there a way to hold onto your heart
when you're always ready for it to be torn apart
Like a mother bear, wolf, protecting her young
If you get too close who may tear out your lungs
So to stay and be happy, no we must move ahead
but love yourself too, but not be full of your head
Listen, protect and acknowledge your credo
The true living potion, the true anti-ego
And sometimes this hardness is compassion in turn
a fire, a yearning to be there and burn
And even in the darkness that will come every day
and even in the slopes that I will slip and fall, come what may
I will know that I pulled ahead every day
and I'm not angry, I just need to say
That I will fall again, crash burn, possible
But this will never longer be some kind of obstacle
