I believe that time travel is a form of power incontinence

Cable's clearly bursting at the seams with power he can barely control. This is evidenced by how he always has to cool down his gun whenever he fires it. For whatever reason, this does not apply when he is firing horizontally while airborne or if he fires it in a diagonal trajectory. I must capture him for further study.
