The Dinner Party
A Tour of the Exhibition
Narrated by Judy Chicago

Edited by Kate Amend

Judy Chicago takes you on a personal tour of her iconic, monumental, and historic work of art "The Dinner Party", now permanently installed at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. The audio is taken from the original audio tour produced for the exhibition tour and narrated by Judy Chicago with photographs by Donald Woodman; and film footage from Johanna Demetrakas' Right Out of History. Edited by award winning editor, Kate Amend.

As she weaves the history of the women who have a place at the table, Judy Chicago gives the viewer insights into the making of "The Dinner Party" describing her process in creating the art and the symbolism that went into the designs.

A must see for artist, historians, students and all who are interested in understanding "The Dinner Party" and why it is considered a historical benchmark and integral part of contemporary art history.
