Teach Us Peace was inspired by the events of September 11th, 2001, now branded as 9/11. For many, the response to the event seemed to be an accurate reflection of humanity's state of separation (consciousness) at that time. "They" attacked "US" (literally, the United States), which begs the question; how can there be a "they" if we are one? Teach Us Peace is an invitation to choose connection, a proven pathway to peace; to question how we treat people who are not like us and what kind of behavior (policy) on our part would warrant violent retaliation.

As of this writing on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Teach Us Peace author, Bentley Kalaway, is at a women's leadership training while I post this video and write the introduction. If you are musically inclined, the lyrics and chords are included below.
