In 2014 65 people die on Queensland roads as a result of speed-related crashes. But still so many* people admit to speeding *88%, because they think they’re in control, or they think they’ll get there quicker. The fact is, the faster you go, the longer it takes to stop. You’ll only be saving seconds, (if any at all) and doubling your changes of crashing. So stick within the limit, check your speed regularly, slow down in the wet, drive to the conditions, and put the brakes on speeding. Join the drive to save lives.
