http://www.minnesotagrown.com A lot of work goes into growing a Christmas tree. Growers spend all year caring for the trees, making sure they're perfect when we go to buy them during the holidays. Casey DeRosier got some insight into what it takes to run a Christmas tree farm when she visited Krueger's Christmas Trees in Lake Elmo, Minn. Casey also learned about the environmental benefits of a real Christmas tree. Check out Casey's blog, Livin' La Vida Local, on the Minnesota Department of Agriculture's Minnesota Grown website at http://www.mda.state.mn.us/food/minne... .
