Born on December 2, 1942 in San Pedro, California, Ted Bluechel, Jr. gained his claim to fame as the drummer for The Association. He wrote or co-wrote numerous songs during his time with the band, such as "Songs in the Wind," "We Love Us," "Happiness Is," "Hear in Here," "The Nest," "Bring Yourself Home," and "Standing Still."

"Standing Still" appears on The Association's debut album, "And Then...Along Comes The Association."

Special thanks goes to John P. Andolina, Jr. for permission to use his pictures and his vision for this video.
