Massimo Fedeli, Managing Partner of Fair Play and formerly CEO of Ferrari GB, describes the transition of companies towards new business models, the influence of technology in customer relations and the ongoing changes in management of the third millennium.

PROFILE:

Massimo Fedeli studied at Morosini Naval College in Venice and graduated in political economics at Bocconi University of Milan while working at Livorno Naval Academy. He started his career as Management consultant and soon became General Director of Sofinal, Nestlé's financial company in Italy. After working for Bain&Company he joined the Spare Parts Division of Magneti Marelli and took over strategic marketing world-wide assuming responsibility for 500 people and sales of €320 million. He later became Commercial and Marketing director of Targa Service, holding company developing and handling services for Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo. As Managing director of In Action was responsible for 800 people developing services for the Fiat Group's customers in 18 markets world-wide. He later joined the Ferrari Maserati Group as Aftersales director and within 18 months created Ferrari GB Ltd assuming the role of Managing director and leading it to become the benchmark operation within Ferrari. Leadership, "can do" attitude are his best qualities.
