One of the most obscure guns in my collection is also one of the simplest. The Mamba pistol was designed in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in the late 70s during the civil war there. It was manufactured in South Africa, and 80 of them were imported by Navy Arms in the early 80s. Sales were bad due primarily to poor workmanship. Besides sloppy finishing, the steel used in the components was soft, which means owners are advised not to shoot the guns to avoid the risk of parts breaking. As such, I haven't shot this one, but I'm sure range performance would fall in the "average" category.
