Gene Nichol is a Professor and the Director of the Center on Poverty, Work, and Opportunity at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. A former Dean of the Law School at the University of Colorado and UNC-CH, the 26th President of the College of William & Mary and former quarterback for the Oklahoma State cowboys. He will be talking about poverty in North Carolina.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
