During a hearing of the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Commitee, Mark Udall asked questions about the impacts on Colorado from energy efficiency bills before the Senate and those related to the development of small-scale hydropower.

Witnesses included U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers; Jeff Wright, the director of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Office of Energy Projects; Lowell Pimley, the deputy commissioner for Operations in the Bureau of Reclamation; and Dr. Kathleen Hogan, the deputy assistant secretary for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
