Located on the north end of campus, Hollins' student-run community garden produces herbs and vegetables that in turn can be purchased by students, faculty and staff and the university's dining hall. Assistant Professor of Biology Ryan Huish and Community Garden Club President Shiloh Boehler '12 talk about the project, which allows participants, in the words of Professor Huish, "to get connected back to the earth."
