From the Album Despondent Transponder

The Fleeting Joys are a shoegaze band from Sacramento, CA. Their sound is influenced heavily by classic shoegazers My Bloody Valentine, to whom they are often compared. Their sound incorporates complex layers of feedback and sound and an often subdued combination of male and female vocals.

Their debut album Despondent Transponder was released in 2006. The duo are: John (vintage surf guitars) and Rorika (sturdy basses and electronics). Both of them sing vocals and use various guest drummers.
